I do remember that. I can’t believe it lasted for 4 seasons. I watched a few episodes and I remember it being pretty bad.

No clue it ran so long. I do remember the scorn and dirision with which it was met upon debut.

I remember it existing. I t hink I watched the premier episode, and never again because it was a piece of shit. Like everyone else, I'm shocked it ran for four seasons.

I absolutely remember that show, and a good buddy of mine and I still talk about it today. In fact he just bought the whole series not long ago and we’ll watch an episode or two here and there. Not only is it great nostalgia, it’s a helluva lot better than the crap that passes off as TV entertainment today.
Being a little kid when that show was around (I was 9 through most of '94 ) , and obsessed with sportscars, I didn’t care about the show’s dialogue or plot or the actors’ abilities... I wanted to see the Viper! And when that car was on the screen, either as the RT/10 or the Defender, I was in Heaven!

My younger brother and I used to watch this when it came out, he’s been in love with the Viper ever since (I’ve always been more of a C orvette/Porsche fan myself).
The show also had a cool drone that would pop out of the Viper, which was usually more useful than the car itself.

This was filmed in my city! I used to frequent a coffee shop that was in the background of 80% of the action scenes. They didn’t have the best stunt drivers, and if memory serves correct, one of them crashed a motorbike into the side of the building, trying to turn off the street into the ally at a high rate of speed. Nobody was hurt. One of my hackey-sacs was punted onto the top of one of the production vans. I never saw it again!

Yup, the nineties Knight Rider copy cat. I remember seeing it when I was a kid and thinking it was pretty cool when the car went into like attack mode, but I also remember it being very boring besides that.
